Since my eyes couldn’t handle the 3D of a bigger screen (and I do cherish my old 3DS too much), I’ve decided to make someone on tumblr happy with their very own Pikachu Limited Edition 3DS XL! I’m really excited to be doing this, and I can just hope it will make someone smile.

No, I won’t be selling it. I am not obligated to answer why, because if you honestly want me to sell it, my answer won’t be sufficient for you. Message me off anon if you’re really dying to know.

Now that the boring parts are over with, let’s go over even more boring stuff, shall we?

  • Reblogs and likes both count and will combined give you two entries.
  • You don’t need to be following me. However it would be nice to meet new people, and I do post a lot of Pokémon.
  • I’ll ship internationally, but the system is European.
  • No giveaway blogs.
  • Have your ask box open so that I may contact you.

The giveaway will end on May 10. Have fun, okay? (◡‿◡✿)

The Windows Live Messenger servers are shutting down and all users have been asked to “upgrade” to Skype. It’s been a long time coming, and we got a reprieve, but I’m still pretty damn upset.

MSN/Windows Live Messenger has been a permanent fixture in my life since I was twelve. I’ve used it almost every day from the end of middle school up until now, as my primary means of communication with both online and offline friends. I’ve passed anime episodes back and forth over it. My boyfriend and I talked for hours and got to know each other over it when we first met. And when I was living under the reign of some really dysfunctional family members, it kept me in contact with people who kept me sane. I’ve written stories and scripts and RPs over it. It was the first thing I installed every time I did a fresh OS install or switched to a new computer. It’s hard to believe it’s going.

And Skype isn’t much of a “replacement,” nor is it really an “upgrade”… it’s more of an awkward sidestep. This is a microwave vs. toaster oven situation, if that makes any sense. Both of them cook food, but they do it in different ways, and sometimes one is preferable to the other. Same way with Skype and WLM/MSN’s styles of communication.

But considering the way they were running WLM into the ground— forcing people to use their full names, that failed Facebook-wannabe “pages” community, all the Windows 8 inteface bullshit… I suppose it is time.

R.I.P. MSN Messenger, another victim of Microsoft’s will to destroy all that is good and functional. ;___;

lo estoy usando ahora mismo con mi polola y video llamada :l lol
